Eddie Cruz and UNDFTD have held a strong position in street culture on the West Coast. Having worked with Nike in the past, the two have fused together their diverse background’s to rework the iconic Air Force 1. This new shoe follows the ‘Artist Series’ collection that was auctioned for charity in July, and uses the LIVESTRONG foundation as a basis for its’ design. Incorporating the pallet of colors of black and yellow which are so well associated with the LIVESTRONG and the fight against cancer. More notable facet’s of design which can refer to the release of 2006 are the ‘Shemagh’ textile used on the front half of the sneaker as well as the ‘ONYOURBIKEKID’ slogan, which replaces the ‘ONYOURFEETKID’, a theme that strongly refers to the origin of UNDFTD.
