The Egg Form Chair

Japanese designerKenji Miyamukai has created the Egg Form Chair.
From the designer:
The comfortable leather and shape of Egg Form Chair give it a unique feeling of being wrapped into something more protective and one can also feel a sense of tranquility. The Egg Form Chair is exclusively made of a special leather and Fiberglass Reinforced Plywood (FRP). This combination has been adopted to the seat side structure and gives a third curved surface with comfort. It has a profound size, but its overall weight is quite light.

45 AUDIO STATION

Designed for a club owner a while ago, the “45 Audio Station” by Chicago-based designer Christian Castro is a DJ table with an integrated vinyl case to rock the dance floor. The name “45″ has a dual meaning derived from the 45 record speed and the design’s resemblance to a handgun. The audio station is made of epoxy, concrete and steel, materials dictated by the design and a turntable’s operational requirement of no movement or vibration. The vertical element of the design is cast concrete connected to the horizontal element, which is made of molded foam. Both the vertical and horizontal elements are coated in glossy resin. The horizontal element is ridged and light, while the vertical element is heavy and immobile. The entire unit is bolted through the club floor.

Atmos X Lacoste Cabestan Vulc Mid

Lacoste has teamed up with renowned Japanese retailer, Atmos, to collaborate on some fresh new colorways of the Lacoste Cabestan Vulc Mid. This mid-cut sneaker with a boat shoe design has a fun summertime look and will be available in three different colors. There will be black, blue and green versions of the Cabestan Vulc Mid on their way, all with contrast stitching, colorful eyelet rings and a rainbow colored Lacoste logo on the tongue label. These kicks are expected to be arriving at Atmos in the very near future, so keep your eyes peeled for them if this is the kind of warm weather sneaker option that you’ve been waiting for.
I know that the shoes are old, but they are very cool.

Mishka F/W 2009/2010 Lookbook

Mishka presents their Fall 2009 Collection Lookbook. Not only the clothes, but the choice of models, photography style and general mood and look of the lookbook result in a rather drastic change at Mishka in our mind. The collection looks more preppy, more dressy and is certainly also much less colorful compared to what we are used to see from the New York brand. I actually like the look a lot and especially how it is styled in the lookbook. Color and graphic accents are set with New Era caps, t-shirts and some knitwear. The outerwear, denim and shirts are more preppy looking and that combination overall works well.
Follow a selection of my favourite...
